SWIN Chairperson Cooks up a Storm in Dirranbandi
The South West Indigenous Network Chairperson Peter Jackson kept many people happy during the lunch period at the Mission Australian Dirranbandi A – Day held on Saturday October 14 at Dirranbandi State School.
Pj who doesn’t mind a snag or two was happy to volunteer his time to the community event by cooking on the BBQ for the many who turned out.
SWIN was a proud sponsor of the event and were extremely impressed by how the day was family orientated.
“I would like to congratulate Tim and Cass on being the driving force behind this event” Chairperson Jackson says. “It just proves that Alcohol Fee Events can lead to a successful outcome”.
This is just one event that SWIN has provided funding with the organisation also supporting the Pirates on the Warrego in Cunnamulla and the upcoming NAIDOC Golf day in Toowoomba on November 16.
