Today and Tomorrow children in the community of Cunnamulla will get the experience of living the dream and participating in a T20 Big Bash style concept with the national T20 Blast Program coming to John Kerr Park.

Through the partnership of the South West Indigenous Network and QLD Cricket they have been able to bring this great concept to the community of Cunnamulla with the support of PCYC Indigenous Sport and Recreation Officer Sean Ticehurst.  Children from the age of 8 – 12 will be put through skills and drills before splitting into a number of teams and playing fast, fun and colorful cricket!

Chairperson of SWIN Peter Jackson stated that this would be a great opportunity for the children of Cunnamulla to participate in a coordinated activity such as cricket.  Jackson also acknowledged the support from QLD Cricket and also the local PCYC officer and looks forward to developing the next Paroo Thunder participants through this program for the Western Rivers Cup in years to come!
