The inaugural South West Indigenous Network Western Rivers Cup was an exciting, fun filled event which bought together community members from across the South West Queensland region.
Teams included the Maranoa Hurricanes, Bulloo Suns, Condamine Lightning, Paroo Thunder, Warrego Tornadoes, McIntyre Stormers, Moonie Cyclones, Balonne Volcanoes, Bremer Rip, and Dawson Fury.
The day saw the Bulloo Suns as the victors of the Western Rivers Cup, defeating Maranoa in the semi-final.
From this day, the Western Rivers Merit Team was chosen to play the Queensland Imparja Cup squad next year.
