2015 Western Rivers Cup

October 19, 2015 //  by SWIN

Western Rivers Cup 2015

Another successful Western Rivers Cup was held this year on the 3rd and 4th of October. The carnival showcased talented cricket players from across Queensland in a action packed 2 day carnival.

This year 12 teams competed in the Western Rivers Cup, the teams are as follows:

1. Bulloo Suns

2. Balonne Volcanos

3. Maranoa Hurricanes

4. Paroo Thunder

5. Warrego Tornadoes

6. Burnett Comets

7. McIntyre Stormers

8. Condamine Lightning

9. Moonie Cyclones

10. Fitzroy Stars

11. Dawson Fury

12. SWIN Academy

Each team played in the spirit of cricket and it was a great 2 day carnival. The winners of the carnival were the SWIN Seamers Academy, beating Bulloo Suns in an exciting final. The plate winners of the carnival were the Balonne Volcanos, defeating Warrego Tornadoes in a close match.

SWIN would like to thank all players, sponsors, volunteers and staff for a great carnival and we hope to see you all for the 2016 Western Rivers Cup!!
